Included are all air fares within the tour, all transfers and overnights, water crafts, and safety equipment such as first aid kit, satellite phone, water filtration and bear deterring spray. We provide all the camping and cooking gear and all quality meals in the wilderness. Not included are your personal tent, your sleeping bag and sleeping pad. We recommend a lightweight, quality brand three season tent and a sleeping bag with a comfort rating of at least 20 degrees (- 7 Celsius). We use ALLY pac boats, a Norwegian made folding canoe. These very reliable and well built boats have a great performance and maneuverability, even with heavier loads.

Alaska’s Interior has a dry climate. Expect warm and dry weather for longer periods of time during the month of June and July. Temperatures are usually between 60 and 70 degrees. We experience more precipitation in late summer, rain can last in August up to several days and the temperatures cools off. Alaska’s weather in the arctic and sub arctic region is more variable and temperatures are generally cooler. Rainy and windy weather with some snow in higher elevation are possible. July tend to be the most stable month, where temperatures can exceed 70 degrees (+20 Celsius). Precipitation usually increases towards the middle and end of August, with temperatures ranging from 40s to 60s (+5 to +15 Celsius).
