Included in our price of a trip are all air fares from and to Fairbanks, all transfers and overnights, water crafts, boating and safety equipment. Non wilderness accommodation will be at theGoNorth Travel Centerin Fairbanks. We provide all the camping and cooking gear and all meals in the wilderness. An experienced and skilled guide will lead the trip. Not included in our price are your personal tent, your sleeping bag and sleeping pad. The tent should be a lightweight, quality brand three season tent. We recommend a sleeping bag with a comfort rating of at least 20 degrees (-7 Celsius). In general we useALLY pac boats, a Norwegian made folding canoe on our tours. These very reliable and well built boats have a great performance and maneuverability, even with heavier loads. Alaska’s interior has a dry climate. You can expect warm and dry weather for longer periods of time during the month of June and July. We usually experience more precipitation in late summer, rain can last in August up to several days and the temperatures cools off. Theweatherin Alaska’s arctic and sub arctic is more variable and temperatures are generally cooler. We have to be prepared for anything at any time during the summer month. June has shown to be unpredictable. Rainy and windy weather with some snow in higher elevation are possible, especially north of the arctic divide. July tend to be the most stable month, where temperatures can exceed 70 degrees (+20 Celsius). Precipitation usually increases towards the middle and the end of August, with temperatures ranging from 40s to 60s (+5 to +15 Celsius).
